The gas liquefaction plant of Nigeria LNG Ltd.(NLNG),located at Finima on Bonny Island,in Rivers State,is set to become one of the largest in the world,according to the shareholders of NLNG.In effect,the company has decided to build a sixth train with a capacity of 4.1 million tons/year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and 1 million tons/year of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and condensate,which is scheduled to enter production at the end of 2007.One of NLNG's shareholders,Royal Dutch/Shell,pointed out this would make NLNG the largest LNG producer in the Atlantic basin by then.
