Dr. Ali Hilmi, President of the Egyptian Iron and Steel Company said that the steel market in Egypt has been extremely injured by the low prices at which imports are made no matter whether for the long or flat steel products or for the semi-finished products such as billets. This has motivated the company to institute antidumping actions against the imports of these products.
