European swaps fall with crude

The European coal paper market dropped for the sixthconsecutive session, tracking further declines in Brent crudeprices.The swaps market started the session weaker than theprevious day's close. The calendar 2016 contract tradedat $52.15/t early in the day, 30?/t lower than yesterday’ssettlement price. But the contract registered a swiftrecovery to reach an intra-day high of $52.60/t around 11:00BST (10:00 GMT).
