Nutritional behaviour among college students in Slovakia as one of the cardiovascular disease risk factors

While the relationship between the nutritional behaviour and nutritional status and health is widely accepted, the possibility that nutritional status may be a predisposing factor to a range of disorders is being incresingly considered. The present paper is part of the study designed to identify the beliefs, motivation and personal and enviromental influences shaping the eating habits of college students in Slovakia. The profile of blood lipids and nutritional behaviour was studied in two groups of college students.
