40 C. perfringens-strains isolated from food have been analysed for their ability to form spores and to produce enterotoxin (PET-RPLA) with two different sporulation media (Phillips- and mNS-Medium). Afterwards the C. perfringens-strains were checked for the existence of the enterotoxin gene by PCR.
