School-Related SARS-CoV-2 Transmission: Modes and Mitigations

摘要

Two studies indicate teachers are the prime source of viral transmission, arguing for strict adherence to social distancing and mask-wearing plus priority vaccination of this group. School closings with virtual or hybrid education in response to the COVID-19 pandemic have negatively affected education as well as the incomes of parents who must sacrifice work as they provide educational support for their children. Studies in Sweden and the U.S. have examined school-related SARS-CoV-2 transmission.
