Wheat yield increased significantly with the level of FYM, time of FYM and level of nitrogen application. Grain and straw yield varied from 29.21 and 51.41 q/ha in control to 60.38 and 103.45 q/ha in 45 Mg FYM and 120 kg fertilizer-N applied plots, respectively. Uptake Of sulphur, iron and manganese by wheat crop (grain and straw) has increased significantly with the time and level of FYM, and level of nitrogen application. Uptake of sulphur increased from 3.26 to 13.01 kg/ha and 5.78 to 16.87 kg/ha in grain and straw, respectively. Iron uptake by wheat grain and straw increased from 0.41 to 1.39 kg/ha and 1.11 to 4.06 kg/ha, respectively. Manganese uptake by wheat grain and straw increased from 0.115 to 0.43 5 kg/ha and 0.275 to 0.783 kg/ha, respectively.
