THINKING BIG: Landsape Conservation

Think big. It's something that we are all told to do when growing up and making decisions. Think big and it will make more of an impact.Of course, whether that impact will be good or not is a different kettle of fish, but thinking big when it comes to conservation can be incredibly positive, if done correctly. Think of the UK's statutory bodies: Natural England (NE), Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH), Natural Resources Wales (NRW) and Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA). These organisations are responsible for a multitude of designated sites throughout the UK. Conservation is their aim and it extends over the whole landscape, so perhaps it's time that we take on that mantle too within the golf industry.
