In that spirit, I say I am among America's leading spokesmen for US metrication, I have that office as the US Metric Association observes a full century of service in working to complete America's metric transition. And, despite what appears to be monolithic opposition to the changeover, I remain quite confident that it will come, just by its virtual goal. Just look at the direction of our laws, regulations, and metric usage.
