A 3-years old male Doberman is refered in Maisons-Alfort Veterinary Teaching Hospital for a posterior paresis which appeared suddenly. The clinical and radiological examinations conclude to bilateral patellar ligament rupture. Lesions are treated surgically by a Bunnell suture reinforced by a fascia lata graft and a neutralization wire. Clinical features of this disease are exposed, as are its diagnosis and treatment. Respect of the techniques of ligaments' sutures warrant a good postoperative result and limit complications.
