Erdemir closes deal to acquire Turkey’s refractories producer

After revealing strong interest in refractories business of Kumas Magnesite, Turkish pension fund OYAK has acquired the mentioned company through its subsidiary Erdemir. The move will provide deeper integration of the steel value chain and allow setting a footprint in the refractory segment.
