摘要

Singapore—Thailand has further raised the price of compressed natural gas, locally known as natural gas for vehicles or NGV, as the military-led government keeps up its momentum of energy price reform. The NGV price hike follows a massive reform of wholesale LPG prices in the country, in a move that is expected to substantially cut the government’s LPG subsidy burden. The NGV price has been raised by Baht 0.50 ($0.015)/kg to Baht 13/kg for private transport operators, and by the same amount to Baht 10/kg for public transport operators, an official with state-owned PTT said Monday.
