Sydney—Woodside Petroleum remains committed to completing all the work required to take a final investment decision on its Browse LNG project at James Price Point in Western Australia, a company spokesman said October 11. His comments followed a report in The Australian, quoting Shell’s director of projects and technology Matthias Bichsel. In an exclusive interview with the daily newspaper, Bichsel would not rule out considering floating LNG as a development option for the Browse joint venture’s gas.
