The relationships between rate of milk flow and milk yield in Simmental cattle of the Kazova State Farm, Turkey

摘要

Some research on milk flow rate has shown that milking rate is a suitable selection criterion for milk yield and that lactation milk yield can be estimated by using milking rate and when the milking rate is used as the selection criterion for milk yield, genetic gain increases. In addition, it is known that as milking time and milking rate decreases, milking expenses increase. Milking rate changes accordingto lactation stages, calving and calving season.
