Lakeland Electric has entered into a two-year coal supply contract with Blackhawk Mining for 75,000 st/year, although the coal is not being delivered now because of an extended maintenance outage at the Florida muni’s 365-MW McIntosh power plant, the utility’s fuels manager said Tuesday.
