NPPA chief to move to National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention

Mr. Bhupendra Singh, Chairman, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), has been transferred to a new role as part of a reorganisation of several Indian Administrative Services officials. The appointments committee of the Cabinet has appointed Mr. Singh to the National Authority for Chemical Weapons Covention (NACWC) in the cabinet secretariat "in the rank and pay of additional secretary", according to a government notification. It is unclear who would succeed him as the new Chairman of NPPA.
