Implementation of the 3Rs in teaching and training: the use of a multimedia

The Norwegian School of Veterinary Science has compiled the NORINA database (http://oslovet.nvh.no/ NORINA) with information on nearly 4,000 audiovisual aids and other materials that can be used as alternatives or supplements to animal use in teachingand training, from junior school to University. NORINA is designed to help teaching personnel, students, esearchers and animal technicians. A multimedia r00m and training clinic, built on the knowledge gained through the NORINA database, was opened at the Veterinary School in March 2009.
