Detection of fault location on the basis of measuring power flows

摘要

A method for a detection of the fault location at emergencies in high-voltage transmission lines is considered. The method is based on a representation of the nonsymmetry node as a generator of negative-sequence and zero-sequence powers.Algorithms and programs for calculating a distance to the fault location at various kinds of faults have developed.
