The principle of minimum and one possible explanation of Guber's effect

Till now, there is no commonly accepted explanation why a torque appears in a pair of mutually rolling bodies that are in contact to each other, which is known as Guber's effect. It is proposed to analyze this effect from the viewpoint of the extreme principle of a minimum active power (based on the well-known least power theorem pertaining to the properties of electrical circuits).
