Personnel competence - an important component of the system of ecological safety of welding fabrication

Experience is described of interaction of the Russian Society of Welders with the world and European structures in the issues of personnel training. The coordination role of Interstate Council on Welding and Allied Technologies is demonstrated. Principles of European certification procedures on systems of quality assurance and environmental management are given.
