A study on attestation and accounting methods using IC card and these provisioning on service agent

Digital contents delivery through the Internet is being popular with glowing electrical commerce. A pre-paid card is an important device of EC. Settlement of accounts using pre-paid cards method realizes higher reliability for contents providers Moreover, user's sense of resistance to use is smaller, because of its anonymity. The most famous pre-paid card is "telephone card" for pay phones, which is nowadays replacing IC cards. IC card pay phone service is provided using Advanced Intelligent Network system. So applying this system to the Service Agent on IP network would be reduce construction cost for pre-paid digital contents delivery service. This paper discusses requirements and these solutions for providing this service using the Service Agent.
