摘要

Reduced production of HCFCs is due to start from 1996 aiming at phasing them out by 2020. We have developed a system for use in packaged air conditioners in which refrigerant flows in two phases (the liquid & gas phases) in a interconnecting pipe. As a result, the amount of refrigerant in the system is reduced by 42 approx 77 percent when compared with a conventional system in which refrigerant flows in the liquid phase instead of two phases. Furthermore, it shows a lower drop in performance in the case of a high-head installation.
