COLES Supermarket's meat boss Allister Watson has indicated the retailer's beef offering will continue to expand based on customer feedback. Mr Watson said an ever-increasing market segment of Australian beef consumers was seeking a premium quality beef product in the supermarket daily. In response to this demand the Coles Finest Angus 100-day grainfed beef brand has been created to satisfy customer demand. While the new premium 'home brand' product is still only available on the east coast, signalsfrom the company suggest the brand will be distributed nationally some time in the future.
