Experimental study on the transferred friction force in the front side of bolt hole with high strength bolted friction joints

摘要

In this paper, the results of slip tests on high strength bolted joints with normal 0.45 slip coefficient are herein. And the quantity of transferred friction force between a member and splice plate in the front side of bolt hole is considered from the results. From the consideration, it is clarified that on the average the transferred friction fore in the front side of bolt hole is 36 percent of the design slip strength on a high strength bolt.
