The Study for the Determinant Factors of News Value in Zika Fever News Coverage in Japanese Newspaper ： Typing in the Contents of News Stories by the Quantitative Text Analysis

摘要

The purpose of this study is to find the determinant factors of news value in Zika fever news coverage in Japan. To keep the public health system in public society be in functional, the role of journalism must be one of the key factors. In other words, the study in the information flow of infectious diseases in public society is critical to make the public health functional.The study in the role of journalism for the inflectional disease has not only developed enough in natural science field, but in social science field also. This study might make alittle progress for the interdisciplinary study field between veterinary medicine and social sciences regarding to the public health issues. In addition, this study might be connected to the effective method in the expression of the theme setting for news coverage in infectious disease for public society.
