Antibody response of pregnant sows to a live vaccine against porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus and maternally-derived antibodies in piglets.

31 days after pregnant sows were administered the second dose of vaccine against porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus, the sows had antibody titres of 1:4 to 1:128, and the titres were 1:4 or 1:8, 6 months after vaccination. Maternally derived antibodies in piglets from the vaccinated sows disappeared around 2 months of age.
