Development, fabrication and testing of a PC-based radio-chromatography scanner for quality control testing of Radiopharmaceuticals

Quality control testing and certification of Radio Pharmaceuticals and ~(99m)Tc kits used at MBPP, BRIT in diagnosis and treatment is mandatory. Radiochemical purity(RCP) is usually measured using analytical techniques based o on the chromatographic paper separation and measuring of radiochemical impurities, and manual operations. An effort was made to indigenously develop and test a PC based Radio Chromatography scanner.
