摘要

The K_0-based neutron activation analysis (k_0-NAA) was developed for the first time at the Dalhousie University SLOWPOKE-2 reactor (DUSR) facility, Canada. Irradiation sites at DUSR (inner and outer) were characterized following both Hogdahl convention and modified Westcott-formalism. The parameters such as cadmium ratio (Red), epithermal neutron shape factor (a), thermal-to-epithermal neutron flux ratio (f), modified spectral index (MST), Westcott's G_(Lu)(T_n-factor, and absolute neutron temperature (T_n) were determined via cadmium ratio and/or bare 'detector methods. The neutron flux monitors used were ~(197)Au, ~(59)Co, ~(94)Zr, and ~(96)Zr. Co-irradiation of Lu target (~(176)Lu) with these four monitors was carried out to determine the g_(Lu)(T_n)-factor and the T_n values.
