KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT FOR RADIATION PROTECTION PROFESSIONALS (KMRPP-07); REPORT OF THE WORKSHOP

A discussion meet was organised by the Health Physic Divn., BARC, on 3-4 May, 2007, at the Radiatio Protection Training & information Centre. Several topic related to radiological safety in nuclear power plani were addressed during the course of the workshop. Mr R.K. Sinha, Director, RDDG, BARC, discussed aboi the developments in the field of nuclear power reactc designs and the safety features. Mr K.A. Pendarka Head, IDD, BARC, highlighted the recent trends in ICR recommendations. Dr B.S. Tomar, Radiochemistr Division, BARC shared his operational expertise an experiences in the field of gamma spectrometry system: Mr B. Krishna Mohan, RRDD, BARC covered Reactc Physics aspects of various reactors.
