Sonangol P&P is launching the next phase in its attempt to maintain output from its operated shallow water acreage off Angola. As previously revealed by AOG (see 4 September), Sonangol has invited companies to bid for a new US $125m heater contract on an existing platform in Block 3/05. It is now prequalifying companies to revamp the fire water system on another two platforms.
