Exxon grabs E Guinea giant

ExxonMobil has finalised a deal for a giant deepwater block offshore Equatorial Guinea. As previously exclusively revealed by AOG (see 16 June 2014), the US supermajor has been negotiating on newly drawn up EG-06 for some time. The acreage stretches in the ul-tra-deepwaters bordering Nigeria all the way from Ophir's Block R in the West to the Zaf-iro field in the East.
