Liberia hopes tumble as Anadarko double disappoints

Hopes for Liberia's upstream took another blow with the two wildcats in Anadarko's latest drilling finding only uncommercial oil, marking the end another disappointing campaign for the country. The Iroko and Timbo wells were drilled in Block LB-10 and the company confirmed previously reported rumours by AOG that both encountered non-commercial oil in their primary targets and have been plugged and abandoned. Both were testing Cretaceous fans.
