Sirius Petroleum has handed Norway's Add Energy the management contract for a drilling campaign on the Ororo field off Nigeria which will start early next year using a COSL rig. Earlier this year UK minnow Sirius received approval for up to three wells and wellhead platforms on the Ororo marginal field in OML 95 from the Nigerian authorities. The company first farmed into the Guarantee Petroleum held block back in 2011 but failed to raise the necessary finances for development.
