Shell has finally found an entry point into Mozambique by teaming up with national oil company ENH to study a GTL plant and potentially in bidding lor future acreage. The European major has been trying to gain a foothold in the country for several years and was looking at buying out Cove Energy for its interest in Anadarko's Area 1 before it was outbid by Asian national oil companies. Last year Shell used a visit by Mozambique's President Emilio Guebuza to Aberdeen to hiiihliijht its experience of FLNG.
