Kosmos closes on early Morocco rig

Kosmos said it is in final negotiations for a rig to drill its first well offshore Morocco in the first quarter of next year. Cairn recently spudded its first well in a drilling spree off the country (see AOG 31 October) and Kosmos will have the Atwood Achiever arriving in the middle of next year for two wells of its own.
