Saipem Dangote venture to target complex and costly projects

Saipem and West Africa's largest manufacturing conglomerate, Dangote Group, have formed a new joint venture to win complex upstream development contracts in Nigeria and elsewhere in West Africa. Companies are increasingly joining together in the industry not only to help with local content requirements but also to ease the burdens of increasingly complex and costly deepwater projects.
