Aminex Tanzania double imminent

Aminex will spud the first of up to two wells in Tanzania within weeks. The Caroil 2 rig will start with the Ntorya-2 well on the Ruvuma block to appraise the 2012 discovery. This tested at 20 MMcf/d of gas and 139 b/d of condensate and resulted in the withdrawal of then operator Tullow Oil which was hoping for an oil find. Reserves are currently put a 158 Bcf of gas and the appraisal well is hoping to add a similar figure. It is being drilled around 1.5km west of the discovery well and is given an impressive 60% chance of success.
