Yara US $2.5 Bn gas plans

Yara International is looking at building a US $2.5 Bn plant in Africa to tap into the continent's gas reserves. The fertiliser company has held initial talks with govern-ments in Tarrzania, Angola, Ghana, Nigeria and Mozambique about building a "considerable and world-class" urea factory to produce for African and foreign markets, Chief Executive Officer Joergen Ole Haslestad said.
