Hyperdynamics half way home over Guinea block probe

The United States Department of Justice (DoJ) has closed its investigation into Hyperdynamics regarding possible violations of anti-corruption laws relating to its giant block offshore Guinea although a probe by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is still ongoing. The DoJ launched the investigation last year saying that there may have been a violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in the company's activities in obtaining and retaining the concession.
