摘要

The coordination polymer {[Zn-3(HhmIDC)(2)(H2O)(2)]center dot 2H(2)O}(n) [H(4)hmIDC = 2-(hydroxymethyl)-1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid] has been synthesised and structurally characterised. In the polymer, there are two crystallographically distinct Zn(II) ions that adopt different coordination environments. The polymer exhibits good fluorescence properties in the solid state at room temperature and its thermogravimetric properties are also described.
