A further contribution to the knowledge of lichen-forming and lichenicolous fungi in Crete

212 taxa of lichen-forming and 13 species of lichenicolous fungi are recorded from Crete. Nine lichen genera (Cetraria, Lasallia, Miriquidica, Peltula, Porocyphus, Schaereria, Seirophora, Thelenella and Umbilicarid), 67 species and infraspecific taxaof lichenized fungi and eight species of lichenicolous fungi are new to Crete. Many other records are new for one or more administrative regions. Acarospora contigua, Caloplaca sororicida and Candelariella antennaria are new to Europe.
