HOLDING TERMIN ALS TO A HIGHER STANDARD

On 20 November 2019, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published revisions to its recommended method for estimating air emissions from organic liquid storage tanks. These changes expand and deepen the previous method, but overall remain true to much of its original structure. However, a method for estimating tank cleaning emissions has been added, which may have significant impacts on terminals' emission totals and annual reports.
