Blue Diamond: The 37-garden centre group turbo-charged its website during the crisis. Chairman Simon Burke says a "major financial loss ... did not happen because the Blue Diamond team, inspired and led by managing director Alan Roper, created overnight a home delivery offer for customers in the vicinity of our centres".FargrO: After increasing turnover by 6.8 per cent in 2018-19, Fargro weathered the coronavirus storm and saw sales take off from May 2020. B&M: Discounter B&M, which has 660 stores, saw a 22.7 per cent increase in like-for-like sales in stores over the eight weeks to 23 May. Excluding DIY and gardening, like-for-likes rose by 10.3 per cent over the eight-week period. The performance in its DIY and gardening categories offset "a significant fall in customer count".
