Coloreel has developed a machinery unit called Embroline which applies colour to sewing thread during the embroidery process, Polygiene and Sinterama have collaborated in the development of a new odour resistant filament yarn, and HeiQ has developed a new odour control finish called HeiQ Fresh NKU. PurThread Technologies and Cotton Incorporated have collaborated in the development of cotton blend fabrics which have antimicrobial properties. Cordura has collaborated with Carrington in the development of a new flame retardant (FR) fabric, called Flametougher 280AS, and Mount Vernon FR has expanded its range of FlexTex stretchable FR fabrics. Mount Vernon FR has also collaborated with Wrangler in the development of a collection of flame resistant jeans called Wrangler FR Cool Vantage, and PPSS Group has developed a new range of slash resistant apparel called SlashPRO. ECCO Leather has developed a transparent cow skin leather called Apparition, 3M has developed a new reflective material called C790 Carbon Black Stretch Transfer Film which appears black in daylight conditions, and Bemis and Noble Biomaterials have collaborated in the development of a "kit" for creating garments which are seamless and conductive.
