Two inquiries have been launched by Parliament's Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) to look into the energy efficiency of UK homes and the viability of hydrogen as a low-carbon source of heat. Both could have major implications for the HVAC sector. The EAC announced in May that it would be reviewing government policies and their role in helping meet a high-profile commitment to fully eliminate or offset carbon emissions nationally by 2050.
