Penultimate improvement to north-south axis

When open in 2026, the Brenner Base Tunnel will be the last but one major improvement to complete along the Scandinavian to Mediterranean corridor of the so called Trans-European Transport Network (Ten-T) between Finland in the north of Europe and Sicily and Malta in the south.
