Importance of long term investment in the local road network was emphasised at CIHT's Annual Luncheon, where members were encouraged to contribute their views to a new survey which will inform an upcoming CIHT Review. President Matthew Lugg welcomed around 1700 members and guests to London's Grosvenor House Hotel on 14 December for the 69th Annual Luncheon. "Revenue funding for highway maintenance has reached a breaking point with some local authorities almost going bust," he said.
