Key transport infrastructure works including motorway and railway maintenance must continue throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, sector bosses have said. Construction Industry Council chief executive Graham Watts commented that certain activities should carry on in the interests of public safety, including bridge inspections and making infrastructure safe - such as when a lorry hits a bridge.
