Technology of Adaptation of Material for Systems of Automated Laying of PCMs for Aviation Purposes

An integrated system of sequential operations (adaptation) has been developed for the fabrication of a process material (carbon prepreg) applicable for modern automated placement processes, which significantly increases the fabricability of products made of polymer composition materials, stabilizes the strength properties of the material, provides repeatability of the results, reduces rejects, and decreases labor consumption and cost of production. The applicability of the developed adaptation system has been shown for a whole class of aeronautical products using automated placement units of any types.
