Woodbridge restructures R&D with the aid of federal funding

Mississauga,Ontario-Wood-bridge,a key supplier of automotive foam,will spend C$100m($76m)on a modernisation project.The Canadian government is contributing up to C$20m.The company is also committing to centralise its R&D in Ontario.Canada's strategic innovation fund will contribute up to C$20m.This will help pay for facilities upgrades in the towns of Woodbridge and Blenheim.The R&D centre will be in Woodbridge,Ontario.Woodbridge will also create a centre of excellence that will be the company's global centre of R&D in materials and product design.Moulded foam products,such as car seats and armrests,will be a development focus.
